How Your Gift Helps

Friends of Youth

Friends of Youth celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2011. Our ability to make a difference in the lives of the youth we serve has been made possible through the generous support of donors like you. Thank you.

Most of the donations received by Friends of Youth are directed to support our current programming. Several years ago we recognized that, while it is critical to ensure that today’s youth receive the help they need, we must also ensure that future generations of young people will be able to rely on the support that our programs provide.

That is why the Friends of Youth Foundation was created. Every gift to the Friends of Youth Foundation will be used to ensure that the work we do to support youth and young adults today will continue for the youth of tomorrow. We invite you to consider remembering Friends of Youth in your estate plans, ensuring that your caring will last beyond your lifetime.

“We include Friends Of Youth in our estate planning to assure that our commitment to supporting the work of Friends of Youth continues after we are gone. Friends of Youth has a history of serving diverse needs of youth and young adults with its many programs and of continually adjusting programming to meet the changing needs of at risk youth in East King County and South Snohomish County. Otis and I are committed to the ideals of legacy giving and to supporting the healthy development of children and youth in our community; Friends of Youth is an organization that we are proud to support with a legacy gift.”
